Apprentice Chef Wanted – PAKHUSET Skagen
As an apprentice with us, we expect you to be motivated, mature, and independent. During your apprenticeship, you will work across both of PAKHUSET’s restaurants—PAKHUSET and HÅKON, which operate from the same kitchen. You will be part of the chef team, reporting directly to our head chef.
At PAKHUSET, you can expect a broad and varied training experience, as we prepare everything from classic lunch and dinner dishes to gourmet menus and large events. Who we are:
At PAKHUSET and HÅKON Skagen, we delight guests with memorable culinary experiences, serving everything from Stjerneskud and fish soup to 5‑course gourmet menus, all in cozy and atmospheric settings with a total capacity of approximately 300 à la carte guests.
PAKHUSET is our spacious and welcoming ground-floor restaurant, where guests enjoy Skagen’s unique charm and the lively harbor. When the weather allows, our large terrace opens, serving everything from hot drinks, craft beers, wine, and cocktails to delicious lunch and dinner dishes.
HÅKON is PAKHUSET’s intimate, exclusive gem, seating 30–40 guests. Here, we focus on the guest experience and the story behind local ingredients, serving a seasonal 3–5 course gourmet menu that changes approximately every 4–6 weeks.
